Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shawna Huston graduated from Iowa State University of Veterinary Medicine following a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Simpson College. After graduation, Dr. Huston moved to Pennsylvania and worked at a family-owned Veterinary clinic prior to joining the VCA family as an associate Veterinarian at VCA Kirkwood. in 2012. Dr. Huston became the medical Director at VCA Glasgow in 2014 and then became the Medical Director at VCA West Shore in 2016. Her special interests are in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She lives with her husband, two sons, two French Bulldogs, two Pugs, and aquatic turtles and tortoises. In her free time she enjoys baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
