Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Collazo grew up on Long Island and pursued her love for animals with a degree in Animal Science from Cornell University. Opportunity then led to a brief career as a professional Thoroughbred jockey in the Mid-Atlantic region. She later attended and graduated from the University of Pennsylvanias School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Collazo began her early years as a field equine practitioner, where her experiences led to a strong interest in Holistic medicine. She completed acupuncture training in the year 2000 and became certified in Animal Chiropractic through the AVCA in 2003. Continuing her quest to truly help animals heal and remain healthy, Dr. Collazo became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist through the Canine Rehab Institute (CRI) in 2013.
