Veterinarian Overview
Gina Chambers, DVM earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Chambers worked in a busy general practice in Alabama. She worked there for 5 years, and enjoyed the client interactions of a smaller practice. While in Alabama, she met her husband, who is originally from Bryn Mawr, PA. They moved from Alabama to Pennsylvania to be closer to family, and in June 2012 Dr. Chambers joined the Hickory Veterinary Hospital team. Her interests encompass all areas of small animal general practice including wellness, internal medicine, senior care, and physical therapy. She recently became certified in Canine Rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and enjoys the challenges of caring for both dogs and cats in general practice. Dr. Chambers has also recently just been certified by OneHealth SIM in the field of Accupuncture.
