Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michael Engler is a 2000 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he started out as a mixed animal practitioner in southern Chester County. He took care of both large and small animals.Dr. Mike came to French Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2003 to get closer to his home and family and to focus primarily on dogs and cats. He enjoys practicing medicine and educating clients on pet care. The aspect of his job that he likes most is surgery. He offers soft tissue surgery procedures and orthopedic procedures, with a focus on cruciate (ACL) repairs.Outside of the office, Dr. Engler enjoys spending time with his family and caring for his multitude of pets. All of his pets were rescued and include 5 dogs and 4 cats. He enjoys golfing and cooking when time allows. He also loves to go for long runs with his wife and dogs in order to train for marathons.
