Wonderful vet, very caring and thorough. We trusted her completely with our cat and his emergency eye treatment. She was very gentle and did everything to make our cat comfortable and took appropriate tests to find out what was wrong with his eye and get it treated ASAP.
I brought my cat in for an emergency and this is the only 24 hour emergency care in Fremont, I was impressed with the office, the office staff, the care my cat was given and the vet on duty, Dr Sherry Appel. Very professional practice as well as very caring. The wait time was very long, a Sunday of a four day holiday weekend, but I was able to observe the staff make decisions around urgency and immediacy that addresses the most credicle cases and then return to the patience in the order of check in, it was easy to understand any delays and feel confident that my cat was still well cared for. When Dr Appel finally saw my cat, there was obvious care and concern, even though my cat was a difficult patient. Dr Appel displayed a desire to make her as comfortable as possible. Dr Appel took time to update me throughout and when I took my girl home, I was given a clear understanding of diagnosis, follow up care, medication etc so that I felt comfortable as well as how to contact the Dr I if there was a need. I hope I don’t need emergency care, but I certainly would know that I would receive good care if I needed it.
