Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Elizabeth Franz grew up in Washington State and graduated from Whitman College with a degree in history. She migrated to the Bay Area to attend culinary school in San Francisco. After returning to Washington for veterinary school, Dr. Franz completed a rigorous internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Walnut Creek. Her primary interests within veterinary medicine are urgent care and internal medicine.Outside of work Dr. Franz has many varied interest. She is an accomplished knitter and a novice sailor. She was a finisher in the 2012 Portland marathon. She has two dogs and a cat, all rescues, that keep her busy at home.
