Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kay Wisely was bom and raised In a rural community near Minneapolis where she spent much of her child hood exploring nature, rescuing strays and treating wild animals. That love for animals has guided her career. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and French Literature from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and Is a graduate of the University of Minnesotas College of Veterinary Medicine. During her post-graduate years, she volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and at the Minnesota Zoo. Before Vet school, Dr. Wisely traveled to the Far East, where she studied Mandarin & Chinese culture. It would Inspire her to earn a post- Doctoral certificate degree In TCVM Acupuncture and Herbok>gy from the Chi Institute In Gainesville, FL Looking ahead, she Is planning to pursue a certificate degree In Veterinary physical therapy. Dr. Wisely Ives n Laurel Canyon with her husband and their two children. She has four wonderful ammal com- panions, Including hebrtan Schlpperke dog Aura, her Siamese cat Lyle, a Beta fish Ryu and a Morgan mare Grace- note, whk h Is stabled near her family cabin In Wisconsin. Dr. Wisely envoys yoga, hiking with Aura, Englsh pleasure trail riding atop Grscenote and spending time with her family.
