Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jessika Benes, originally from Juniata, Nebraska, grew up raising purebred Simmental cattle and showing livestock. She has a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she was on the livestock judging team and president of Block and Bridle Club. Jessika completed her education with a DVM from Iowa State. In 2011 she practiced in Grand Island, Nebraska before joining Southern Hills Veterinary Services in September 2014. Dr. Benes and her husband, Martin, have one son Ethan. They enjoy spending time raising and showing cattle.
