Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kate Fridolph earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, she attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and was actively involved in the Equine Science program. Dr. Kate grew up on a farm in west-central Illinois, where her family had farm animals, including cattle, horses, mules, cats, dogs, and variety of other animals. Dr. Kate joined the SHVS team in 2012 and in 2014 got hitched! Dr. Kate currently resides east of Red Oak on a small acreage with her husband, Tim, and a step-daughter, Lexy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, going for walks with the dogs, horseback riding, gardening, reading, and watching movies.
