Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kelli Urbina received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from McMurry University in 2007. She then graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She stayed there to complete an internship in Medicine and Surgery. She worked as an emergency veterinarian at MedVet Medical and Cancer Center for Pets until 2014 when she joined Hickory Small Animal Hospital. She loved the variety of cases and fast paced environment of emergency medicine but was ready to move to general practice where she could establish lasting relationships with clients and their pets. She strives for gold standard patient care and excellent client communication. Her interests include internal medicine, abdominal ultrasound and promoting spay/neuter.
