Veterinarian Overview
After working as the head technician at The Maywood Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Swan moved to Iowa to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Following graduation from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Swan returned to the MaywoodVeterinary Clinic to practice high quality medicine at a state of the art, progressive practice. He brings over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine as well as a passion for science, a love of animals, and a personal responsibility to provide high quality medicine to pets of entrusting clientele. He believes that doctor visits should be health-giving for the patient as well as educational and enjoyable for the client. His veterinary interests include cytology, internal medicine, and dermatology. He is also a member of the AVMA, NJVMA, and AAHA. Dr. Swan lives with his wife, 2 sons, and dog Tyson, a pitbull mix. His outside interests include fishing, working out, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
