Dr. Yossi Haroush, is a lifelong animal-lover who, as a child, rescued stray cats and orphaned ducks and, as an adult, takes a passionate approach to veterinary medicine. A scholar and humanitarian, Dr. Haroushs methods are both research and action-driven, inspired by pragmatism, innovation, and empathy. Born and raised in Jerusalem, Dr. Haroush holds veterinary medical licenses and degrees across the globe. With undergraduate work from the best schools in Israel, a medical education in Europe, and post-doctorate work in Canada, Dr. Haroush has over 20 years of experience and education. Dedicated to excellence and advanced technologies, Dr. Haroushs specialties include diagnostics, internal medicine, emergency care, and surgery. He is licensed to practice in the US, EU, Canada, and Israel. Established in 2003, the Animal Health Center is privately owned and operated by Dr. Yossi Haroush, DVM. In 2005, Dr. Haroush began searching for the right location to expand his practice - and to develop one of the most advanced veterinary medical practices in the country. The beautiful, state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot hospital, located in Westchester County, is the culmination of a lifelong dream and this dream is dedicated to providing the best possible care for very special members of the family. Dr. Haroushs two rescue dogs, Schnoozle and Murray Lynn, are frequent visitors to the hospital. They delight in greeting patients and in making patients and their human partners - feel right at home.
