Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bruce Hoskins received is Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1989. He has been in companion animal practice continuously since that time and has been the owner of the Croton Animal Hospital in Croton-On-Hudson, New York since September 2000. Dr. Hoskins is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and its local chapters. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the Croton Animal Hospital has been an AAHA certified veterinary hospital since 1974. Dr. Hoskins is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and is accredited by the USDA to do regulatory work/health certificate examinations on behalf of the agency. In addition to writing many articles for the Croton Animal Hospital newsletter, Dr. Hoskins was lead author of an article published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association titled, Ultrasonographic Diagnosis of Detached Retina in a Dog. Dr Hoskins is honored to have been selected One of WestchesterÂ’s Best Veterinarians for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 as featured in Westchester Magazine.
