Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Prosser joined LVAH team in January 2016. He grew up in this area and has worked in a couple different veterinary hospitals doing various jobs since high school and throughout college. He obtained his Bachelor's degree at Oswego State University and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Prosser has since worked as an associate veterinarian, and enjoys the challenges that veterinary medicine and surgery brings each day. He enjoys the interactions with the pets and looks forward to the relationships that are built with the clients when caring for his patients. His focus has been on dogs and cats, and although he enjoys all aspects of the profession, some special interests include surgery and radiology. Outside of work, Dr. Prosser and his wife are kept very busy with three active children, and all the activities that come along with having busy kids. They enjoy indoor/outdoor sports activities, boating and water activities, they routinely visit the local parks, and spend lots of time with family and friends. Dr. Prosser, and his family, try to stay actively involved in their church and related activities, he plays the drums for the music ministry, and he also volunteers at the associated senior citizens apartment complex by routinely evaluating the residents pets to make sure they stay healthy and parasite free!
