Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lin has been with Liverpool Village Animal Hospital since 1980. A native of New York City (the Bronx to be exact), she came to the area via the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her love of people and animals comes through in her interaction between staff, clients, and pets. She loves to work with dogs, cats, birds, small furry (guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, rats, ferrets, etc), unfurry (snakes, lizards, turtles, etc), and feathered (birds) creatures. The best part of her job is getting to know the pets and their people. Her hobbies include traveling (especially internationally), boating on the St. Lawrence River, reading mysteries, cooking (in order to eat!) and keeping up with her Chinese. Dr. Lin is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Central New York Veterinary Medical Society, and the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Lin's family of seven includes her husband and two children, a Senegal parrot, Pi-Jio; a guinea pig, Patty Pan; and an aquatic frog, Cody.
