Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katrina Amberg is excited to be joining the Eastview Veterinary team! She grew up in Stanley, NY, spending time with her neighborÂ’s horses and working on a local dairy farm. She attended Cornell University, studying Animal Science and focusing on dairy cattle, travelling to Italy and California to learn about dairying across the globe. During her time at Cornell, she interned at both large and small animal clinics, furthering her love for creatures of all sizes. Dr. Amberg moved to the midwest and attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was able to gain further experience in the dairy industry, as well as work on a nearby sheep farm. She is excited to be coming back to the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes Region. Dr. Amberg is interested in calf management, small animal preventive care, and small ruminants. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, music, theatre and spending time with her cat, Miri.
