Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Demson graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science, and earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. She joined Burrstone Animal Hospital in 1987. As she made her way through school, she enjoyed working at a dairy farm, a horse farm and as a kennel person, lab tech, and treatment tech at a small animal veterinary hospital.Dr. Demson loves having a job that allows her to be with animals and their people. She finds the study and practice of medicine fascinating and challenging. When not at work, Dr. Demson enjoys competitive trail and endurance riding, swimming, reading, as well as spending time with her husband and their animal family.
