Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kristen Kessler grew up in the Pittsburgh suburbs and attended the University of Pittsburgh to earn her undergraduate degree in biology. A 2015 graduate of the University of Tennessees College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kessler couldnt be happier to return to western Pennsylvania to live and work near her family and friends.As a veterinarian, Dr. Kessler has professional interests in feline medicine, nutrition, and osteoarthritis management. She also has a special passion for shelter medicine. Dr. Kessler lives near Cranberry, Pennsylvania with her husband T.J., who is currently completing a residency program in family medicine, and their spoiled cat, Shawnee. When time permits outside of work, Dr. Kessler enjoys playing soccer and other sports, cheering on all of her favorite Pittsburgh sports teams, and relaxing at the beach
