Veterinarian Overview
A native Pittsburgher, Dr. Amy Wong joined Ellwood Animal Hospital in September 2015. After graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, she practiced traditional small animal veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr. Wong has a special interest in combining holistic therapies such as rehabilitation, nutritional, and herbal remedies with traditional medicine to help patients. She recently completed her certification in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitative Therapy at the Healing Oasis with Dr. Pedro Rivera. Prior to embarking on a veterinary career, Dr. Wong practiced finance law for 5 years. She lives in Pittsburgh with her 3 cats: Maybelle (Mabe the Babe), Abraham (Abby the Flabby Tabby), and Tatiana Jane (Teeny Tiny Tortoiseshell)
