Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cindy Maro graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She has continued her studies in both conventional and alternative therapies in her efforts to decrease suffering and improve the lives of her patients and their owners. Her advanced studies have included nutrition, acupuncture, animal chiropractic, rehabilitative, myofascial and physical therapies, Veterinary NAET, animal massage, herbology, homeopathy, Bach Flowers and essential oils. She is a member of the AVMA, AHVMA, AAVA, IVAS, AVCA and served on the Board of the AVCA from 2002 through 2007. She has been dedicated to community service and is a strong proponent of career shadowing, mentoring, and school, playground and community programs throughout her years in practice. She sees patients for medical, surgical, dental and complementary care at all three of our locations - Ellwood and Chippewa Animal Hospitals and Cranberry Holistic Pet Care. Currently, she is seeing all new holistic patients within the practices.
