Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lisa Evans received her B.S. in Biology from American University where she played field hockey on scholarship. She then completed graduate work in Reproductive Physiology at University of Maryland. In 1988, she obtained her VMD from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She built Skippack Animal Hospital, a state of the art award winning hospital in 1994, and just completed building WagMore Next Door, doggy day care, exercise and training facility.Dr. Evans' professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, avian and exotic animals, and canine competitive sports such as agility and dock diving.Lisa currently lives in Worcester with her husband Hansell. Together, they have 3 children: Claudia, Hansi, and Sam. The family is all active participants in triathlon races, as well as biking and skiing. She enjoys taking care of her farm of 2 horses, Lucy the Labrador, Agility Auggie a rescue dog, Moose the cat, and 13 chickens.
