Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lorenson grew up in a small family in Salem, Massachusetts. Her first animal-related job was at the local animal shelter in townChristina was only 14! She worked there for five years, an experience she says was invaluable.Next, Christina attended Michigan State University, settling on a Biochemistry major. She worked at a local animal hospital throughout college before heading back east to attend Cornell Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she took a job in a mixed animal practice in upstate New York. Then, after marrying, she worked in a small North Providence practice for 10 years before purchasing Wickford Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Saslaw in 2010.Dr. Lorenson finds General Practice rewarding because it allows her to foster life-long relationships with her clients and patients.
