Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashley Mays has lived in East Tennessee for the majority of her life and began working in local veterinary clinics at 16 years old. She attended Anderson County High School and graduated in 2001. Dr. Mays was accepted into veterinary school early, while attending the University of Tennessee for undergraduate studies. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After 2 years of practice, Dr. Mays found her permanent, professional home here at Pellissippi Veterinary Hospital. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and neurology. Dr. Mays also has a very special place in her heart for geriatric medicine. Dr. Mays has been married to her husband Bryan since 2009. They have 2 young sons, Ryder and Ramsey. She currently has 2 dogs, Rogue-a mastiff mix and Hype-a pit bull. In her spare time, Dr. Mays like to spend time with her family and friends, travel and cheer on the Tennessee Vols.
