Veterinarian Overview
Dr. N Carolyn Wickers father always told her that she could do anything she set her mind to, and she took it to heart. Dr. Wicker decided to become a veterinarian when she was only six years old! After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Wicker called 303 Animal Clinic and asked for an interview. She was offered the job and has been here ever since. Dr. Wicker served as an Associate Veterinarian for her first five years at the practice before becoming a partner, then purchased the clinic and became the hospital President.Dr. Wicker is a member of various veterinary organizations and has served on the Texas Veterinary Medical Board of Ethics and Grievances. Shes very active in the community and has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board, the Grand Prairie Animal Control Board, the Grand Prairie United Charities Board, and many more! A small sampling of her personal awards includes the Woman of the Year recognition from the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, the Heroes for Children Award from the Texas Education Agency, and the 2014 Community Award for Outstanding Service. At home, Dr. Wicker has two dogs: Kinsey, a miniature phantom poodle; and Gracie Lou, a stubborn miniature poodle.
