Veterinarian Overview
Steven Richard Hull, D.V.M. was born in Winter Park, FL, a suburb of Orlando, in 1974. He lived there until 1981, when his family relocated to Moore, OK. He completed his elementary and secondary education in Moore in 1992 and subsequently moved to Stillwater, the home of Oklahoma State University. He attended undergraduate classes there until his acceptance into OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 after only 2 years of undergraduate work. In the winter of 1998, while finishing his DVM, he participated in an externship at Carrier Animal Hospital. Shortly thereafter, he relocated to the DFW area and began practicing veterinary medicine. In 2001, the opportunity arose to rejoin the staff he respected and enjoyed working with while still 'Almost Dr. Hull' and he became part of the staff at Carrier Animal Hospital full time. In his spare time during high school, he began showing cats in the Cat Fanciers' Association. He exhibited several breeds of cats to National Wins, earning them wins among the top 15 cats in the country. In 1992, he began breeding Oriental Shorthairs and, later, Colorpoint Shorthairs and showing them to Grand Championships and Regional Wins. Another hobby of his is bowling, in both leagues and amateur tournaments. The highlight of Steven's bowling career was a perfect 300 game in October 2002.
