Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Heard received her veterinary degree from The University of Florida in 1981 and her undergraduate degree from The University of Pennsylvania in 1976. She has been seeing companion animals in Southern California since 1983. For the past two years, Dr. Heard has received positive reviews for her house call practice. Prior to that, she was at Petville Animal hospital for ten years. For many of them, she was the Medical Director. From 1985 to 1993, Dr. Heard owned and operated Canoga Veterinary Hospital in the San Fernando Valley. When that was sold she worked at Parkwood Animal Hospital in Woodland Hills and Miller Animal Hospital in West Hollywood before going to Petville in Mar Vista. Dr. Heard resides in Santa Monica where she is the volunteer veterinarian for the City of Santa Monica Animal Shelter.
