Veterinarian Overview
Dr Laura Doering has been a partner in the ownership of Alpine Animal Hospital since 1987. Laura obtained a BS in Zoology from UC Davis then graduated from the Veterinary School at UC Davis in 1980. After practicing in Carson City NV, she relocated to South Lake Tahoe and has been loving it since 1985. Laura enjoys all areas of general practice for dogs and cats. She also has a special interest in surgery and advanced dental care procedures. She appreciates the bond she sees between her animal patients and their families and gets great pleasure when she can help the pets lead the healthiest and happiest life possible. Outside the hospital Laura can be found riding her horses Magnus, Chequita and Engelberg. She enjoys showing them in jumping competitions. She and her husband Marty also boast as family members Ivy, the most spoiled Schipperke in the world, an extremely active Braque Francais named Ruby and their lap cat Mr. Man.
