Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Erin Goodwin joined the Arden family in 2017. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Biology and then worked as a veterinary technician in research while pursuing a master's degree in genetics. It didn't take long for her to realize she preferred puppies over fruit flies and decided to head west. After earning her DVM from Western University in 2009 she promptly returned to the east coast and completed residency training and a master's degree in Comparative Medicine at Penn State. Dr. Goodwin's curiosity led her to work in a variety of clinical settings including zoo medicine, research, emergency medicine, and small animal general practice. She has worked with everything from bison to zebrafish but for now is mainly sticking with dogs, cats, and rabbits. She has a special interest in small mammals and emergency medicine. Dr. Goodwin currently resides in Downtown Los Angeles with her gorgeous yellow lab, Peggy and two mischievous cats, Baby Broccoli and Peach. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and admiring Peggy. Dr. Goodwin can't wait to meet you and your fur babies and give them the best care possible.
