Veterinarian Overview
anet Lawson was born in Northern California and grew up in many states around the U.S. After obtaining a zoology degree, she spent two years in the Peace Corps working in agricultural development in West Africa. Upon returning to the U.S., she earned her Master's degree in reproductive physiology from Texas A&M University, with a focus on goat reproduction. She earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and a Master's of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (epidemiology) from the University of California at Davis. She and her husband Alan (below) have two children in college, one dog, one cat, a horse and chickens.
