Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Megan Blasier Duvall, DVM grew up in the Washington, DC area. She has an ecology degree from University of Georgia, and earned her veterinary degree in 2003 from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed internships in small animal medicine, emergency and surgery at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC, and zoo/exotic/wildlife medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. Duvall has worked at the Georgia Aquarium, an emergency/referral practice in Atlanta, and spent the last 9 years in a busy small animal practice 'over the hill', before joining Coastside Veterinary Clinic in 2016. In addition to dogs and cats, she sees rabbits, rodents, and ferrets and has lots of experience with small mammal dentistry. Dr. Duvall lives in Half Moon Bay with her husband, 2 sons, 2 cats, 3 fish, and 1 snail. When not at work, she can be found hiking, attempting yoga, or trying really hard to surf.
