Veterinarian Overview
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, Dr. Rachel Samsel attended the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Working in the animal related field since 1995, Dr. Samsel joined South Hyland Pet Hospital as a part time veterinarian in 2006. In addition to being a general veterinary practitioner, Dr. Samsel has professional interests in dermatology.Her husband, Eric, is a manager of Burnsville Toyota, and in their spare time they enjoy spending time with their dogs, reading, gardening, working on their home and visiting with family and friends. They share their home with Lily, a standard poodle and Sully, an English springer spaniel.
