Veterinarian Overview
An associate veterinarian at South Hyland Pet Hospital since 1995, Dr. Vicki Schulz attended the University of Minnesota where she was awarded her B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 1983. Previous to her acceptance into veterinary school, Dr. Schulz was employed for 2 years at an equine hospital as a veterinary technicianA graduate of the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Schulz received her DVM Degree in 1988. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, and the American Animal Hospital Association. As a general practitioner, Dr. Schulz enjoys seeing cats, dogs and birds, as well as other exotic species.Dr. Schulz lives with her husband, Peter, their 2 boys, Brandon and Derek, and their menagerie of pets. The pets include 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 cockatiels, 2 cockatoos, 1 conure and a quarter horse named Dillon. During her free time, she enjoys gardening, fishing and horseback riding.
