Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Fatkin grew up in central Texas. She attended Texas A&M University , where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 and then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation, Dr. Fatkin relocated to the Oley Valley area and started her career at Oley Valley Animal Clinic. Her initial plan was to stay at Oley Valley Animal Clinic for a few years and then move back home to Texas. The Oley Valley area quickly changed her mind and the thought of moving back to Texas began to fade. She now considers Oley her true home. Dr. Fatkin has been at Oley Valley Animal Clinic for 12 wonderful years. Her professional interests include endoscopy, ultrasound and internal medicine. She enjoys interacting with her clients and their pets and trying to make every visit as personal and thorough as possible. Dr. Fatkin and her husband Zack have four wonderful children, Caleb, Nate, Ben and Ella. They also share their home and hearts with Charlie, their three legged Golden Retriever and Indiana, their slightly pudgy cat. Her interest outside of work include running, playing sports with her children and reading.
