Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Burke grew up in the Pocono Mountains and attended Stroudsburg High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree with high honors from Muhlenberg college in 1983 and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1987. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery (both soft tissue and orthopedic) and ultrasound imaging. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Associations. She has also been active in local dog training as well as local riding clubs. Dr. Burke lives in Perkiomenville with her Jack Russell Terrier Tess, her two horses Joani and Jekyll, and her two cats Cosette and Rosie. When shes not busy working or riding, she enjoys traveling, reading, running ,gardening and dog training.
