Veterinarian Overview
A native of Shillington and Berks County, Dr. Seward received a BS degree in biology from Albright College in Reading, PA. He also attended Penn State University and served honorably in the United States Army. He then earned his VMD degree from The School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 1977. After one year in private practice at Delaware Valley Animal Hospital in Levittown PA, he practiced in Pottstown for two years. He purchased that practice and for 18 years was sole owner of Peterman Road Animal Hospital until 1999 at which time he worked for Healthy Pet Corporation until 2002. He became an associate veterinarian at Oley Valley Animal Clinic in 2002 and continues to provide quality care for small animals. Dr. Seward married his college sweetheart Joan and has two daughters, Lauren and Devon. Dr. Seward has a special interest in exotic and pocket pets. When not caring for your pets, he enjoys family, gardening, swimming and music.
