Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Fleck attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 from Ohio State University. Originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, Dr. Fleck has been at White Oak Veterinary Clinic for about 11 years, and has over 18 years of experience.Dr. Fleck likes working at White Oak Veterinary Clinic because he enjoys the staff and feels a sense of satisfaction helping pets and their owners every day. His professional interest focuses on internal medicine and surgery, and he especially enjoys the challenge of the more complex surgeries. Dr. Fleck has had training in endoscopy and looks forward to using this technology to help many pets who might need surgery or additional diagnostics.Outside of work, Dr. Fleck enjoys fishing, working on his house, gardening, woodworking, and spending time with family and pets (Jackson, a Spaniel/Poodle mix and two cats). Dr. Fleck rescued his two cats that were strays, and adopted his dog, Jackson, from a no-kill shelter.
