Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Daryl was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2006. He began his career practicing medicine at a progressive North Dallas animal hospital before joining Hurst Animal Clinic in late 2009. He believes in progressive, yet practical care and works to stay very current on issues and diseases that affect our four-legged loved ones. Though all areas of Veterinary Medicine intrigue Dr. Daryl, his particular areas of interest are surgery, gastroenterology, dermatology, endocrinology, as well as progressive medicine and surgery. Dr. Daryl is a native of Stedman, North Carolina, but has been living in Texas since 1998. He grew up on a mini-farm and has always enjoyed caring for animals. Dr. Daryl feels that being a Veterinarian means lending a voice to the voiceless and helping to ease their suffering. In his spare time, Dr. Daryl enjoys camping, fishing, music, grilling and home improvement.
