Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hawkins joined the team at Hurst Animal Clinic in June 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. She has been working in veterinary clinics since she was 16 years old, however her love for animals developed much earlier in life. During college she worked as a Veterinary Technician and continued to develop her passion for the profession. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine her special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology. Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her four-legged family members. Dr. Hawkins is very excited to be a part of the Hurst Animal Clinic family and is eager to serve you and your beloved pets!
