Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Genny has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 2011. She received her BachelorÍs of Science in Animal Bioscience from Penn State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. She started working in small animal clinics as a Kennel Technician 17 years ago. While in college, she worked in dairy nutrition and research on a local dairy farm and rode around with local dairy Veterinarians. During Vet school, she worked as a Vet Tech and interned with mixed animal Veterinarians. Her favorite part of the job is the different aspects of the human-animal bond. Her professional interests are feline medicine, working with senior pets, cytology, and woundcare. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and her 3 dogs and 3 cats.
