Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wortley joined Hurst Animal Clinic in March, 2017. He graduated from Texas A&M with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a technician at a small animal clinic in Stephenville. After graduation from vet school, he worked for two years at a mixed animal practice in Abilene and then one year at a small animal practice in Frisco. He enjoys diagnosing and providing medical/preventative care to his patients and helping to build the human-animal bond as well as seeing his hospitalized patients get well and go home to their families. His primary interests in Veterinary Medicine are surgery and neurology. In his time off he enjoys playing basketball, baseball, paintball, and going fishing and camping. He has two dogs and one cat, all animals he has rescued through the years.
