Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lisa Heath grew up in Michigan and Illinois. She graduated from University of Illinois and then completed a residency at University of Michigan. After achieving specialty certification in laboratory animal medicine (which focuses on the care and welfare of research animals), she worked in academia and biotech for many years. An opportunity to change directions to work in small animal practice arose a couple of years ago, and Dr. Heath has been enjoying working with pets and their families. When not at work, Dr. Heath can be found on a ballroom dance floor with her husband or out riding her Icelandic horses with her family.
